Found: an extra tall bright orange tube vase designed by celebrated danish designer Matthew Bang for Holmegaard, Denmark's royal glassmaker since 1825, known for its iconic designs. Originally a ceramicist, Michael Bang was the son of Jacob E. Bang, Holmegaard's first designer. Michael later pursued glassmaking and worked for a few companies like the Odense Glass Factory before moving with his family to Holmegaard in the 1980s when he joined the Holmegaard Glass Factory. Known for his bright, fun sculptural lamps, vases, and decorative objects, he became known for some of Holmegaard's most successful and influential designs.

Origin: Denmark, 1980s
