Árbol de Fuego Planter
What comes to mind when you think of your roots?
For Danny, Co-Founder of Little Goodies, who was born and raised in Virginia in the 1990s to immigrant parents from El Salvador and Thailand, his roots have been an ongoing exploration.
Meet the Árbol de Fuego planter by Oakland-based ceramicist Justin Kiene, part of a collection of ceramics exploring Danny's roots and inspired by the flora grown in the native lands of his parents. This vase takes cues from the striking colors of the Árbol de Fuego, or "Tree of Fire," which fills the Salvadoran countryside during the spring and summer, lighting the sky with its beautiful fiery hues.
We love Justin's otherworldly approach to ceramics, which is on full display with this planter featuring striking colors and a matte finish.
Handmade by Justin in his Oakland studio, this one-of-a-kind goody is exclusively available at Little Goodies. This vase could be a memorable keepsake for yourself to brighten up a space with a plant or could make a great gift for someone close to your roots.
